Visiting the Oracle of Dodona

Professor Hugh Bowden, co-investigator on the VRO project, recently delivered an online schools talk entitled ‘Visiting the Oracle of Dodona’. Aimed at Key Stage Five students and their teachers, the talk focused on the Oracle at Dodona and made connections with the OCR A-level syllabus for Classical Civilisation, where Dodona features as part of the topic ‘Personal Experience of the Divine’. The live talk had an audience of approximately 60 from 11 different schools across the country.
A recording of the talk can be found on the King’s College London website, which also includes other syllabus overviews and handouts by academics in the Department of Classics. These resources have been created in collaboration with the Advocating Classical Education project.
